23 August 2025 marked a wonderful milestone as the Apex Club of Bukit Timah proudly launched our food distribution initiative at Telok Blangah Rise! The event was a resounding success, with 100% of groceries bags eagerly collected by our new beneficiaries. It was a moment of immense pride for all Apexians, after months of dedicated planning, interviewing, and execution.

Fast forward to 15 November 2025, and we celebrated yet another fantastic day! Our regular volunteers came to help at Telok Blangah Rise for the first time! Once again, it was a great success, with all groceries bags distributed within just an hour! Since the opening of this location, Apexians had typically ran the food distribution here to ensure operations run as smoothly as at our existing locations, Redhill and Kim Tian. Now, we are thrilled to share that the operation has already reached the stage where beneficiaries are well familiar with the process and our volunteers can start to participate regularly.

As of this report, Apex is proudly supporting 22 families with 28 bags of groceries each week between block 29 and 41 of Telok Blangah Rise, making it the second largest hub of our food distribution. All beneficiaries are on a WhatsApp group with us for easy communication. For example, we originally started our distribution location at block 29 where most of beneficiaries live, but moved to block 32, where there are more comfortable seating with ceiling fans, with a time change, and we were able to quickly check and make plans for all beneficiaries. In addition to groceries, we also help with requests for certain furniture and other household items.

With our banner prominently displayed on site, we are seeing a growing number of prospective beneficiaries reaching out for assistance. Between all three locations, we are now serving ~160 families on a weekly basis.
