We are thrilled to share that Apex’s very first clothes distribution brought smiles to both beneficiaries and volunteers alike! Thanks to our donors’ generosity, we collected a wonderful assortment of women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing, along with toys, shoes and bags—many in excellent condition, and some even brand-new in original packaging.

We also learned an useful lesson from the first run: we planned for an hour and a half to set up, but the incredible teamwork put the “showroom” together in just half an hour! Clothes were neatly hung on racks and other items displayed on mats for the ease of browsing. Our goal was to offer a comfortable, dignified “shopping” experience. Beyond weekly grocery essentials, we added those little extras and “nice-to-have’s” that make life brighter. In total, about 100 items found new homes with families at Telok Blangah Rise in just an hour! We also found some young souls eagerly wielding saber lights to protect our community—or simply, just for fun!

This successful start gives us confidence to make this a regular initiative, with your help—perhaps Red Hill will be next!
